The mission of the Town of Islip Foreign Trade Zone Authority is to stimulate economic growth on Long Island by creating jobs and expanding business through the cost-saving incentives of the United States FTZ program, including inverted tariff relief, duty deferral, and duty elimination.  All the while, we look for ways to make the FTZ process more efficient and effective for our FTZ user companies and serve the greater business community with networking events, educational seminars and the dissemination of economic development information that we receive from our contacts at local, state and federal agencies.
